Governing law notice: Our general governing law is Canada (Province of Québec). For purchases by UK consumers, your mandatory rights under UK consumer law apply and prevail where they provide stronger protection.

1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms govern the use of our website and the sale of products to consumers in the United Kingdom. By placing an order you confirm that you are over 18 and capable of entering into a contract. A contract is formed when we send you the Order Confirmation email.

2. Product Information

We aim for accurate descriptions, photos and sizing guides (universal fit ranges for dining chairs and bar stools). Minor colour variation may occur due to screen settings or batch dye differences. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Prices, Taxes & Payments

  • Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Shipping charges (if any) are shown at checkout. We currently offer free UK delivery from £20.
  • We accept secure payments by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Your card will be charged when your order is accepted.
  • We may cancel or refuse orders in cases of pricing error, stock unavailability, suspected fraud or breach of these Terms. Any payments taken will be refunded.

4. Delivery

  • Standard UK delivery target: 5–7 working days (tracked). This is an estimate; we are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we receive full payment.

5. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-off)

UK consumers may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, email support@chair-covers.uk with your order number and a clear statement.

  • Return the goods within 14 days of cancellation.
  • We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof of posting), including the standard delivery cost. Any premium/express upgrade is not refunded.
  • You may handle items to check their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.

6. Our Enhanced Returns (Goodwill)

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a free 30-day returns window for UK orders (complete, undamaged sets). See our Returns & Refunds Policy for details.

7. Faulty, Not as Described

If your item is faulty or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Within 30 days you may reject for a refund; otherwise we will repair/replace within a reasonable time, or refund if that is impossible or unsuccessful. We cover return costs for faulty/incorrect items.

8. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Used/soiled items (stains, odours, pet hair) or items washed contrary to care instructions.
  • Incomplete sets missing pieces or essential packaging/inserts needed for resale.
  • Personalised or made-to-order items (if ever offered).

9. Returns Process

  • Request an RMA by emailing support@chair-covers.uk with order number, reason and photos if faulty.
  • Use the return label we provide or keep proof of posting. We will confirm the correct returns depot address. Do not ship to the correspondence address above.
  • Pack securely; include all items in the set.

10. Promotions & Gift Cards

Promotions/coupons are subject to their specific terms and may not be combined. If a qualifying order is partially returned, the benefit may be recalculated. Gift cards are non-refundable except as required by law.

11. Acceptable Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the site (no scraping, hacking, malware, or resale of content). All content, designs, trademarks and photos are the property of Chair-Covers.uk or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may link to public pages in a fair and lawful manner.

12. Privacy & Cookies

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. By using the site you consent to such processing.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresement, or any liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to the foregoing, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any loss arising from a single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., carrier disruption, strikes, extreme weather, regulatory actions).

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to your order is the one in force at the time you placed it. We will post the latest version on this page.
